About Richard Rossi
Richard Rossi is Co-Founder of EnvisionEMI, the world’s largest creator of leadership
and success programs for high achieving young people. Each year over 47,000 students
from 4th grade through college attend Envision’s conferences all around the world.
With over 200 staff members and annual revenues of over seventy five million
dollars, Envision recruits exclusively using direct marketing techniques. What
makes this so amazing is that the revenue from each direct marketing sale to new
customers is between one and five thousand dollars.
Richard is a creator and architect of Envision’s most successful marketing
campaigns. He has created several direct mail packages that have each produced
over 50 million dollars in revenue and at least one package that has produced over
100 million dollars in revenue.
Over the last few years his marketing expertise has expanded into integrated direct
marketing, which is the carefully timed mix of mail, phone, fax and internet to
produce exponentially greater returns then any one of those methods alone.
At Envision, Richard focuses exclusively on strategic thinking, leadership,
marketing and relationships. He and his partner leave the day to day running of the
company to trusted members of their team.Richard takes over 140 vacation days a
year, almost all traveling with his wife, or his entire family or his friends.
Richard is a first generation American - the son of world war 2 European immigrants.
He likes to say he grew up as one of the poorest kids in one of America’s richest
towns, Greenwich Connecticut, where he went to public schools.
After high school, Richard moved to Washington, DC to attend Georgetown
University but his family ran out of money so he went to work full time at the age of
19 and attended college part time at night, graduating after eight years.
Richard co-founded Envision with his partner Barbara Harris when he was 30 years
old. He lives in Washington, DC with his wife Lisa and two children Anna and Willie.
